Minecraft 1.13 was a big step forward for the Java Edition of Minecraft. Like you, we were wondering what to expect from the 1.13.1 update. Minecraft update focus: Stability, Commands
With a point update we usually see stability fixes, especially and in .1 update. Minecraft 1.13.1 doesn’t disappoint from that standpoint. If you’ve experienced the mob spawning glitch that has been widely reported, you’ll be happy to know that it’s no longer an issue.
Beyond several glitches that are addressed, the bulk of the focus in 1.13.1 is on commands.
Seed Generation in 1.13.1 Pre-Release 1
There haven’t been any announcements regarding seed generation changes (which is expected in a point release). We’ve checked several 1.13 seeds for Java Edition, and everything is the same in the pre-release.
